Pink
Lemonade - Copper and Enamel Earrings
Petal-shaped copper disks have been run through a rolling mill before the enamel was put on. I used a transparent rose and over-fired with a torch to create
a smoky look toward the edges. The enamel I use is a vitreous powdered glass, which I torch fired in order to
make the glass melt and create a smooth, colorful surface. I counter -enameled the
reverse sides with a clear enamel for added stability.
* Enamel drops approx: 3/4"
* Earring drop length approx: 1-1/8"
* 14k gold-filled earwires
(One-of-a-kind
piece)
